Comparison review
Moto G9 Plus has a general score of 80.5, which is a little bit better than the Moto G9 Play's score of 76.7. Both phones in our current comparison include the same Android 10 operating system, so they should provide very similar operating system features. Although Moto G9 Plus is better than the Moto G9 Play, we must tell that it's also somewhat heavier and a little bit thicker.
The Moto G9 Plus has a little bit better hardware performance than Moto G9 Play. Both of them have 8 CPU cores and the same RAM memory amount. The Motorola Moto G9 Plus counts with a brighter display than Motorola Moto G9 Play, because it has a little bit larger screen, a way higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a greater pixel number in each inch in the display.
The Moto G9 Plus has a way bigger storage to install games and applications than Moto G9 Play, and although they both have an external SD slot that admits up to 512 GB, the Moto G9 Plus also has 128 GB internal memory. The Moto G9 Play features a battery duration that's just as good as Moto G9 Plus's battery performance.
Motorola Moto G9 Plus captures slightly better videos and photos than Moto G9 Play, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for low light images, and they both have the same camera sensor size, the Motorola Moto G9 Plus also counts with a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a much higher resolution camera in the back.
