The Moto G9 Plus is a bit better than Galaxy A8 (2018), getting an 80.5 score against 79.2. Although the Moto G9 Plus is notably newer than Galaxy A8 (2018), it is thicker and way heavier. The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) counts with a little bit better looking display than Moto G9 Plus, because although it has a bit lower 1080 x 2220 resolution and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit better pixel density.

Galaxy A8 (2018)'s CPU is just as good as the Motorola Moto G9 Plus one, they have a Octa-Core processing unit and a 4 GB RAM. Motorola Moto G9 Plus shoots much better pictures and videos than Galaxy A8 (2018), because although it has a tinier aperture, it also counts with a way better (4K) video definition and a lot better 64 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera.

The Moto G9 Plus counts with a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy A8 (2018), because it has 128 GB internal memory and a SD card slot that supports up to 512 GB.
