Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a little bit better than Moto G9 Plus, having a score of 85.7 against 80.5. Both phones in this comparison review use Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has the older 5.0 version while Moto G9 Plus has Android 10. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is an noticeably older cellphone than the Moto G9 Plus, but Samsung was able to build it much thinner and much lighter anyway.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features a lot better looking screen than Moto G9 Plus, because although it has a way smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the display and a better 2560 x 1440 resolution. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a bit better processing unit than Moto G9 Plus, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM, and they both have 8 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a 64-bits processor and an extra GPU.

The Moto G9 Plus features a much bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Moto G9 Plus also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. The Moto G9 Plus counts with a very superior camera than Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Moto G9 Plus also has a much larger camera sensor taking way better quality videos and pictures, a back-facing camera with much more megapixels and a larger camera aperture for better low-light captures and video.

Motorola Moto G9 Plus features a way better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
