Moto G9 Plus is slightly better than the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, having a general score of 80.5 against 79. Moto G9 Plus's design is way newer and thinner than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact's, but it is incredibly heavier. Both of these devices have Android OS (operating system), but Moto G9 Plus has the older 10 version while Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has Android 8.0 Oreo version.

Xperia XZ2 Compact has a bit better processing unit than Motorola Moto G9 Plus. Both of them have a Octa-Core processor and 4 GB of RAM memory.
