Moto G9 Plus has a global score of 80.5, which is slightly better than Xperia Z5 Premium's 79.8 score. Moto G9 Plus's design is notably newer than the Xperia Z5 Premium's, but it's somewhat thicker and heavier. Both of these phones have Android OS, but the Moto G9 Plus has a newer 10 version and Xperia Z5 Premium has Android 5.1 version.

The Xperia Z5 Premium has a bit faster processor than Moto G9 Plus, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with an extra GPU. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a lot better looking screen than Motorola Moto G9 Plus, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a way better 3840 x 2160 resolution and a lot better pixel density.

Moto G9 Plus counts with a much bigger storage to install applications and games than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has 96 GB more internal memory and an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB. The Motorola Moto G9 Plus shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, and although they both have a F1.8 camera aperture, the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Motorola Moto G9 Plus also has a much bigger back camera sensor which offers a way higher photo and video quality and a lot more megapixels back facing camera.

The Moto G9 Plus features a really longer battery lifetime than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a 46% greater battery size.
