Comparison review

Galaxy A40 is slightly better than Motorola Moto G9 Power, having a 79.6 score against 78.6. Galaxy A40's design is somewhat thinner and way lighter than Motorola Moto G9 Power, even though it was released a little bit more than a year before. Both phones in this review have Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy A40 has newer 11 version and Motorola Moto G9 Power has Android 10 version, so it gives you a couple nice extra features and performance optimizations.

Motorola Moto G9 Power has just a bit better processing power than Galaxy A40. Both of them have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores. Galaxy A40 counts with a brighter display than Motorola Moto G9 Power, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 1080 x 2340px and a lot better display density.

Motorola Moto G9 Power captures much clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not so good for taking images or video in low light situations, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, the Motorola Moto G9 Power also counts with better video frame rate and a camera with lot more MP.

The Moto G9 Power counts with a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy A40, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 512 GB, the Moto G9 Power also has 128 GB internal storage. Motorola Moto G9 Power features a much better battery life than Galaxy A40, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity.
