The Sony Xperia 5 II has a global score of 87.2, which is much better than Motorola Moto G9 Power's 78.6 overall score. Although Sony Xperia 5 II and the Motorola Moto G9 Power were only released with a few months difference, Sony Xperia 5 II is somewhat thinner and way lighter. Xperia 5 II has just a little better hardware performance than Motorola Moto G9 Power, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xperia 5 II also has a higher amount of RAM.

The Xperia 5 II features a better looking display than Motorola Moto G9 Power, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much better resolution of 1080 x 2520 and a way better number of pixels per inch of display. Sony Xperia 5 II features a bit more storage to install games and applications than Moto G9 Power, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Sony Xperia 5 II also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 1000 GB.

Moto G9 Power features a much longer battery lifetime than Xperia 5 II, because it has a 50% more battery size. Motorola Moto G9 Power captures clearer photographs and videos than Sony Xperia 5 II, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not favorable for low light photos and videos and slower 60 fps video frame rates, and they both have the same video quality, the Motorola Moto G9 Power also counts with a lot more MP camera.
