Comparison review
The HTC One M9 has an overall score of 77.7, which is a bit better than Moto M's global score of 71.6. The HTC One M9 construction is just a little lighter than the Moto M, although it's somewhat thicker and was released just 21 months before. The HTC One M9 counts with a better display than Moto M, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1920 x 1080, the HTC One M9 also counts with a little bit greater number of pixels in each inch in the display.
HTC One M9 has a little faster CPU than Motorola Moto M, because although it has 1 GB less RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64 bits processing unit and an extra graphics co-processor. Moto M and HTC One M9 feature similar storage capacity to store more apps and games, both of them have a SD memory slot that supports up to 128 GB and exactly the same 32 GB internal storage.
The HTC One M9 captures way better videos and photos than Motorola Moto M, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for capturing photos and video in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a much higher (4K) video definition and a back-facing camera with more MP. Motorola Moto M has just a bit longer battery lifetime than HTC One M9, because it has 3050mAh of battery capacity against 2840mAh.
