Comparison review
The Galaxy A42 is much better than Motorola Moto M, with a overall score of 87 against 71.6. Even though the Galaxy A42 is notably newer than the Motorola Moto M, it's a little thicker and somewhat heavier. The Galaxy A42's CPU is just as good as the CPU in Motorola Moto M, both of them have the same number of cores and 4 GB of RAM.
Moto M features a better screen than Samsung Galaxy A42, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and a much better pixel density. Samsung Galaxy A42 counts with a way bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Moto M, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 1000 GB and more internal memory.
Samsung Galaxy A42 has a very superior battery performance than Motorola Moto M, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 3050mAh.
