The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has an overall score of 78.1, which is a little bit better than the Motorola Moto M's overall score of 71.6. Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus's design is somewhat lighter than Motorola Moto M, but it is just a bit thicker and was released many years before. The Galaxy S5 Plus features just a bit better performance than Motorola Moto M, because although it has lesser CPU cores (although they are faster) and 2 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics processing unit.

The Galaxy S5 Plus features a better looking screen than Moto M, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 1920 x 1080px resolution, the Galaxy S5 Plus also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch of screen. The Motorola Moto M has a way bigger memory to install applications and games than Galaxy S5 Plus, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 128 GB, the Motorola Moto M also has 16 GB more internal storage capacity.

Moto M has just a little better battery duration than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has 3050mAh of battery capacity against 2800mAh. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has a very superior camera than Moto M, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for capturing pictures and/or video in low light situations, and they both have a same resolution back camera, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus also counts with a way higher 3840x2160 video quality.
