Comparison review
Xperia XZ2 Premium has an overall score of 82.2, which is much better than the Moto M's 71.6 general score. Even though Xperia XZ2 Premium is newer than the Moto M, it is extremely thicker and way heavier. Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Motorola Moto M, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has more RAM memory.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a much more vibrant display than Moto M, because it has a way better 2160 x 3840 resolution, a lot greater screen pixels density and a quite larger display.
