Both of these phones have the same Android 5.0 operating system, so you shouldn't notice any differences regarding operating system features.

The Galaxy Note 4 has a bit faster processing unit than Motorola Moto X (2014), and although they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Galaxy Note 4 also has a much better graphics processor working at 500 MHz and 1 GB more RAM.
