The Samsung Galaxy S6 is better than the Motorola Moto X (2014), having an 83.5 score against 73.4. The Samsung Galaxy S6 is a noticeably thinner and just a bit lighter phone than Motorola Moto X (2014), even when both were only released with a few months difference. Both phones we are comparing here use the same Android 5.0 OS (Operating System), so both of them should offer all the same operating system features.

Galaxy S6 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Moto X (2014), because it has a 64-bits CPU, a larger number of cores , more RAM memory and a much better graphics processing unit working at 650 megahertz. Galaxy S6 features a little more vivid screen than Moto X (2014), because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better pixel amount in each inch of display and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440px.

Galaxy S6 shoots a little bit better photographs and videos than Motorola Moto X (2014), and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same (4K) video quality, the Galaxy S6 also has a larger aperture for better low light photos and video, a larger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a back camera with a higher resolution.
