The Samsung Galaxy S6 is much better than the Moto X (2014), getting an 83.5 score against 73.4. These phones work with the same Android 5.0 operating system, so both should give you the same operating system features. Although Samsung Galaxy S6 and Moto X (2014) were released only 7 months apart, Samsung Galaxy S6 is a bit lighter and extremely thinner.

Galaxy S6 has just a little better performance than Motorola Moto X (2014), because it has a 64-bit processing unit, a much better graphics processing unit working at 650 MHz, 1 GB more RAM and 4 more cpu cores. Samsung Galaxy S6 has a little more vivid screen than Moto X (2014), because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a higher quantity of pixels per inch in the display.

Samsung Galaxy S6 has as much memory capacity to install applications and games as the Motorola Moto X (2014) one, both of them have equal 32 GB internal memory capacity. Galaxy S6 features a bit superior battery life than Moto X (2014), because it has 2550mAh of battery capacity instead of 2300mAh.

Galaxy S6 takes a bit better videos and photos than Moto X (2014), and although they both have the same video quality and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy S6 also has a larger diafragm aperture for better photography and video in low light situations, a higher resolution camera and a larger back-facing camera sensor.
