IPhone X features a bit better processing unit than Moto X (2014), because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, it also counts with 1 GB more RAM, 2 more cores (although they are slower) and a 64-bits CPU.
The Motorola Moto X (2014) counts with a little bit better looking screen than Apple iPhone X, although it has a little lower screen density, a quite lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a little smaller screen. IPhone X shoots a bit better photographs and videos than Motorola Moto X (2014), because although it has a lower 12 megapixels resolution camera in the back and a worse video resolution, it also counts with a larger sensor and a bigger camera aperture to capture better captures and video in low light environments.
The iPhone X has a much better memory to store more apps and games than Motorola Moto X (2014), because it has 256 GB internal memory. The iPhone X counts with longer battery performance than Moto X (2014), because it has a 2716mAh battery capacity against 2300mAh.
Although Apple iPhone X is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Moto X (2014), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Moto X (2014). So if you want that extra features, you can buy Apple iPhone X, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Moto X (2014), resigning some features and specifications.
