The Google Pixel 2 XL has a global score of 82.5, which is better than the Motorola Moto X (2014)'s global score of 73.4. Although the Google Pixel 2 XL is somewhat heavier than Motorola Moto X (2014), it's thinner and also noticeably newer. Moto X (2014) has a little bit better performance than Google Pixel 2 XL, because although it has lesser RAM memory and an inferior number of cores (although faster), it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor.

The Motorola Moto X (2014) counts with a little bit better looking display than Google Pixel 2 XL, although it has a much lower resolution of 1920 x 1080px, a just a bit lower quantity of pixels per inch in the display and a little bit smaller screen. The Google Pixel 2 XL has a much better storage capacity for games and applications than Moto X (2014), because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity.

The Google Pixel 2 XL has a really longer battery life than Moto X (2014), because it has a 53% larger battery capacity. Google Pixel 2 XL counts with a slightly better camera than Motorola Moto X (2014), because although it has a worse 3840x2160 video resolution and a camera with less mega pixels resolution, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture and a bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a better image quality.
