Comparison review

The Huawei Mate X is a lot better than the Motorola Moto X (2014), with an 89.4 score against 73.4. The Huawei Mate X construction is notably newer, but just a little thicker and incredibly heavier than Motorola Moto X (2014). These devices include Android operating system, but the Huawei Mate X has 9.0 Pie version and Motorola Moto X (2014) has Android 5.0, so it gives a couple nice extra features and performance optimizations.

The Huawei Mate X has a little bit better performance than Moto X (2014), because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with more RAM memory and a higher number of faster cores. Moto X (2014) features a slightly better looking screen than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a way worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a much smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit higher count of pixels in each screen inch.

The Motorola Moto X (2014) captures a little bit better videos and photos than Huawei Mate X, although it has a much smaller back-facing camera sensor, a tinier aperture which is not favorable for capturing images and/or video in low light environments and a back facing camera with way less megapixels resolution.

Huawei Mate X counts with a lot bigger memory to install applications and games than Moto X (2014), because it has more internal memory capacity. Huawei Mate X counts with a very superior battery lifetime than Moto X (2014), because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 2300mAh.

Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Motorola Moto X (2014), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Motorola Moto X (2014). If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy Motorola Moto X (2014), and give up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your money.
