The Huawei Mate X2 is much better than the Moto X (2014), having a global score of 89.1 against 73.4. Both devices in this comparison review use Android OS, but the Huawei Mate X2 has the newer 10 version and Moto X (2014) has Android 5.0, so it gives you a couple nice extra features. Huawei Mate X2's design is newer and thinner, but heavier than the Moto X (2014).

The Moto X (2014) features a little bit better looking display than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has a way worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a really smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little better pixels quantity per display inch. Huawei Mate X2 counts with just a bit better performance than Motorola Moto X (2014), because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with a greater number of cores (and also faster) and a greater amount of RAM.

The Huawei Mate X2 has a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Moto X (2014), because it has 256 GB internal storage. The Huawei Mate X2 takes much clearer videos and photos than Motorola Moto X (2014), and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Huawei Mate X2 also has a back camera with a much higher resolution and a larger camera aperture to capture better low light images.

The Huawei Mate X2 counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Motorola Moto X (2014), because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.

Although Huawei Mate X2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Moto X (2014), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Moto X (2014). So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Huawei Mate X2, else you can save some dollars and buy the Moto X (2014), letting go a couple specifications.
