The LG Velvet has a score of 87.1, which is better than the Motorola Moto X (2014)'s global score of 73.4. LG Velvet's body is way newer and notably thinner than Motorola Moto X (2014)'s, but it's also notably heavier. LG Velvet features a processor that's very similar to the processor in Moto X (2014), because although the LG Velvet has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM and more processing cores.

Motorola Moto X (2014) features a much better display than LG Velvet, because although it has a quite lower 1920 x 1080 resolution and a really smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit higher display density. The LG Velvet takes a lot better pictures and videos than Motorola Moto X (2014), and although they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the LG Velvet also has a way better resolution back camera, a way larger back-facing camera sensor and a larger aperture to take better low-light captures.

The LG Velvet has much more memory capacity to store more apps and games than Moto X (2014), because it has 128 GB internal storage and a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. LG Velvet features a superior battery life than Moto X (2014), because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity.

In addition to being the best phone between the ones we are comparing here, LG Velvet is also cheaper.
