Motorola Edge (2024) is a little bit better than the Motorola Moto X (2014), having a global score of 78.5 against 73.4. The Motorola Edge (2024) is a noticeably newer and somewhat thinner cellphone than the Motorola Moto X (2014), but it's also somewhat heavier. These phones include Android OS (Operating System), but the Motorola Edge (2024) has the newer 14 version and Motorola Moto X (2014) has Android 5.0 version.

Moto X (2014) features a bit sharper screen than Motorola Edge (2024), because although it has a little bit lower 1920 x 1080 resolution and a really smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit higher display pixel density. The Motorola Edge (2024) features a much better storage to install games and applications than Moto X (2014), because it has 256 GB internal storage.

The Moto X (2014) counts with a lot better processing power than Motorola Edge (2024), because although it has an inferior number of cores and 6 GB less RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics processor. Motorola Edge (2024) counts with a way better battery life than Motorola Moto X (2014), because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity against 2300mAh.

Motorola Edge (2024) captures clearer videos and photos than Motorola Moto X (2014), and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Motorola Edge (2024) also has a bigger aperture, a much larger camera sensor providing a way higher image quality and a much more mega-pixels back-facing camera.

Although Motorola Edge (2024) is a better device, it is way more expensive than Motorola Moto X (2014), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Motorola Moto X (2014). So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Motorola Edge (2024), otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Motorola Moto X (2014), letting go a couple features and specifications.
