Motorola Edge 50 Pro has a global score of 86.3, which is much better than the Motorola Moto X (2014)'s 73.4 overall score. Both of these devices include Android OS (Operating System), but the Motorola Edge 50 Pro has a newer 14 version and Motorola Moto X (2014) has Android 5.0 version, giving a couple nice extra features and performance improvements. Even though the Motorola Edge 50 Pro is way heavier than the Motorola Moto X (2014), it's thinner and way newer.

Motorola Edge 50 Pro features a little more vivid screen than Moto X (2014), because although it has a bit lower count of pixels per display inch, it also counts with a little bit higher 1080 x 2400 resolution and a bigger display. The Moto X (2014) has a much better hardware performance than Motorola Edge 50 Pro, because although it has 10 GB less RAM memory and lesser processing cores , it also counts with an additional graphics processing unit.

Motorola Edge 50 Pro has a much greater memory to store more games and applications than Moto X (2014), because it has more internal memory capacity. Motorola Edge 50 Pro features a much longer battery duration than Motorola Moto X (2014), because it has a 4500mAh battery size. The Motorola Edge 50 Pro has a way better camera than Motorola Moto X (2014), and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same video quality, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro also has a much better 50 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera, a way larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a way larger diafragm aperture to take better low-light images and videos.
