The Moto G31 is a bit better than Moto X (2014), with a overall score of 77 against 73.4. Both of these phones work with Android OS (operating system), but Moto G31 has newer 11 version and Moto X (2014) has Android 5.0, so it provides you a couple additional features and enhanced performance. Moto G31's construction is newer and somewhat thinner, but incredibly heavier than Moto X (2014).

Moto X (2014) counts with a little bit better performance than Moto G31, because although it has lesser processing cores (although they are faster) and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit. Moto X (2014) features a brighter screen than Motorola Moto G31, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a bit lower 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per inch in the screen.

The Moto G31 features a superior camera than Motorola Moto X (2014), and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same video resolution, the Moto G31 also has a larger camera aperture to capture better images and videos in poorly lited situations and a much more megapixels camera in the back.

Motorola Moto G31 has a much better storage capacity for applications and games than Moto X (2014), because it has a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 1 TB and 64 GB internal storage. The Moto G31 has a superior battery performance than Moto X (2014), because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
