Comparison review

The Moto Z2 Force Edition is slightly better than the Moto X (2014), getting a overall score of 77.4 against 73.4. The Moto Z2 Force Edition is a much newer phone, and it's also a lot thinner and just a bit lighter than the Moto X (2014). The Moto Z2 Force Edition has a CPU that is very similar to the processor in Motorola Moto X (2014), because although the Moto Z2 Force Edition has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, it also counts with more RAM memory and more cpu cores (although they are slower).

Moto X (2014) has a bit sharper screen than Moto Z2 Force Edition, although it has a just a bit worse quantity of pixels per inch of display, a quite smaller screen and a much lower 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. The Moto Z2 Force Edition features just a bit better camera than Moto X (2014), because although it has a lower (4K) video resolution and a camera in the back with less mega-pixels, it also counts with a larger camera aperture to capture better low-light photos and video and a bigger back-facing camera sensor taking better quality photographs and videos.

The Moto Z2 Force Edition has a way bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Moto X (2014), because it has an external SD slot that holds up to 1,95 TB and 64 GB internal storage. The Moto Z2 Force Edition has longer battery performance than Moto X (2014), because it has a 19% larger battery size.

Although Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Motorola Moto X (2014), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Motorola Moto X (2014). If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy Motorola Moto X (2014), letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
