The OnePlus 8 UW is just a bit better than Motorola Moto X (2014), getting a 75.9 score against 73.4. The OnePlus 8 UW is a noticeably newer and thinner cellphone than the Motorola Moto X (2014), although it's also incredibly heavier. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but the OnePlus 8 UW has newer 10 version while Motorola Moto X (2014) has Android 5.0 version.

OnePlus 8 UW has just a little better processing power than Moto X (2014), because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a higher number of cores (and also faster) and more RAM memory. The Moto X (2014) has a bit sharper display than OnePlus 8 UW, because although it has a much smaller display and a quite lower resolution of 1920 x 1080, it also counts with a just a little better display pixels density.

OnePlus 8 UW captures much better videos and photos than Motorola Moto X (2014), and although they both have the same (4K) video definition, the OnePlus 8 UW also has a larger camera aperture, faster 60 frames per second video frame rate, a way larger back-facing camera sensor which provides a lot higher photo and video quality and a way higher resolution camera.

OnePlus 8 UW features a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Motorola Moto X (2014), because it has 128 GB internal storage. OnePlus 8 UW has a very superior battery life than Motorola Moto X (2014), because it has an 87% bigger battery capacity.

Although OnePlus 8 UW is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Moto X (2014), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Moto X (2014). So if you want that extra features, you can buy OnePlus 8 UW, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Moto X (2014), giving up some features and specs.
