OnePlus 9 has a global score of 76, which is a little bit better than Moto X (2014)'s 73.4 score. These phones include Android OS, but OnePlus 9 has a newer 11 version and Moto X (2014) has Android 5.0, providing a lot of extra features and performance optimizations. The OnePlus 9 construction is notably newer and somewhat thinner, but also heavier than the Moto X (2014).

The Moto X (2014) counts with a brighter screen than OnePlus 9, because although it has a quite lower 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and a way smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher quantity of pixels per inch of display. OnePlus 9 counts with a bit more powerful processor than Motorola Moto X (2014), because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with a larger number of cores and a greater amount of RAM memory.

The OnePlus 9 features a much better camera than Moto X (2014), because it has a larger aperture for better low light photos and videos, a lot higher video definition, a lot larger back camera sensor capturing way better quality videos and pictures and a lot more mega pixels camera. OnePlus 9 counts with a much greater storage to store more games and applications than Moto X (2014), because it has 96 GB more internal storage capacity.

OnePlus 9 features a much longer battery performance than Moto X (2014), because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 2300mAh.

Although OnePlus 9 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Motorola Moto X (2014), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Motorola Moto X (2014). So if you want that extra features, you can buy OnePlus 9, else you can save some money and get the Motorola Moto X (2014), resigning some specs and features.
