The Galaxy A31 is much better than the Moto X (2014), with an 81.3 score against 73.4. Galaxy A31's construction is way newer and somewhat thinner, but also noticeably heavier than Moto X (2014). These phones come with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy A31 has the newer 10 version while Moto X (2014) has Android 5.0, giving you some additional features and performance enhancements.

Moto X (2014) has a brighter display than Galaxy A31, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a little better display density.
