Samsung Galaxy A6 has a general score of 75.8, which is just a bit better than Moto X (2014)'s general score of 73.4. Although the Samsung Galaxy A6 is somewhat heavier than Moto X (2014), it's notably thinner and newer. Motorola Moto X (2014) features a much sharper screen than Galaxy A6, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better pixels density and a higher 1920 x 1080 resolution.

The Moto X (2014) has just a little better processing power than Galaxy A6, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and an inferior number of cores , it also counts with an additional GPU. The Samsung Galaxy A6 features a much bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Motorola Moto X (2014), and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A6 also has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 400 GB.

Galaxy A6 features a camera that's very similar to the camera in Moto X (2014), and although the Galaxy A6 has a more mega-pixels camera in the back, a lot larger diafragm aperture to capture better images and video in low light environments and a bigger camera sensor which gives a better photo and video quality, they both have the same video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video resolution.

The Galaxy A6 counts with better battery duration than Moto X (2014), because it has a 30 percent larger battery size.

Despite of being the best phone in this comparison, the Galaxy A6 is also by far the cheapest one.
