The Galaxy A71 has a global score of 87.5, which is much better than the Motorola Moto X (2014)'s overall score of 73.4. These devices include Android OS, but the Galaxy A71 has 11 version while Motorola Moto X (2014) has Android 5.0 version, providing a couple nice extra features and better performance. Galaxy A71's design is much newer and way thinner than the Motorola Moto X (2014)'s, but it is somewhat heavier.

The Motorola Moto X (2014) counts with just a bit better performance than Galaxy A71, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and an inferior number of cores , it also counts with a graphics co-processor. Motorola Moto X (2014) has a much better looking display than Galaxy A71, because although it has a little worse 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and a much smaller display, it also counts with a just a little higher pixels count per inch in the display.

The Galaxy A71 takes greater photos and videos than Moto X (2014), and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Galaxy A71 also has a back-facing camera with a way better resolution, a bigger aperture for better photography and videos in low-light situations and a much larger camera sensor taking lot higher quality videos and pictures.

The Samsung Galaxy A71 has much more memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Moto X (2014), because it has more internal memory capacity and a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 512 GB. Samsung Galaxy A71 counts with a really longer battery duration than Moto X (2014), because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.

The Galaxy A71 is more expensive than the Moto X (2014), but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
