The Galaxy M20 has a global score of 78.9, which is just a bit better than Motorola Moto X (2014)'s 73.4 general score. Although the Galaxy M20 is much heavier than Motorola Moto X (2014), it's somewhat thinner and much newer. These phones use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy M20 has newer 10 version while Motorola Moto X (2014) has Android 5.0, so it provides some extra features and a performance increase.

The Motorola Moto X (2014) has a brighter display than Galaxy M20, because although it has a quite lower 1920 x 1080 resolution and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a little greater screen pixels density. Galaxy M20 has a very superior storage for games and applications than Motorola Moto X (2014), because it has 32 GB more internal storage and a SD extension slot that supports up to 512 GB.

The Moto X (2014) features a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy M20, because although it has less RAM and less CPU cores , it also counts with a graphics processing unit. The Moto X (2014) captures just a bit better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy M20, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for shooting pictures in poorly lited environments, and they both have a same resolution back facing camera, the Moto X (2014) also counts with a larger camera sensor shooting better quality pictures and a lot higher (4K) video definition.
