Galaxy M51 has a global score of 87.7, which is much better than the Motorola Moto X (2014)'s 73.4 global score. Both of these phones work with Android OS, but Galaxy M51 has newer 10 version while Motorola Moto X (2014) has Android 5.0 version, so it offers some additional features and a performance increase. The Galaxy M51 body is noticeably newer and just a bit thinner, but also extremely heavier than Motorola Moto X (2014).

The Motorola Moto X (2014) counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy M51, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although faster) and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics processing unit. The Moto X (2014) has a more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy M51, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a way smaller screen, it also counts with a little more pixels per inch in the display.

Galaxy M51 has a much greater storage capacity for applications and games than Motorola Moto X (2014), because it has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 512 GB and 96 GB more internal storage. Galaxy M51 counts with a very superior battery life than Moto X (2014), because it has a 204 percent greater battery size.

Galaxy M51 counts with a lot better camera than Motorola Moto X (2014), and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same video resolution, the Galaxy M51 also has a back-facing camera with lot more MP, a bigger aperture to take better low-light images and video and a way larger sensor.
