Although the Galaxy Note 4 and the Moto X (2014) were released only a couple of months apart, the Galaxy Note 4 body is heavier but also thinner. Both phones in this comparison review work with the same Android 5.0 operating system, so you shouldn't notice any difference in that aspect.

The Galaxy Note 4 counts with a bit better processing power than Moto X (2014), and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Note 4 also has a faster GPU working at 500 MHz and 1 GB more RAM. Galaxy Note 4 features a little more vivid display than Motorola Moto X (2014), because it has a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440, a quite larger screen and a quite greater pixel density.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 counts with much more memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Motorola Moto X (2014), and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 also has an external memory card slot that admits up to 128 GB. The Galaxy Note 4 has a way better battery performance than Moto X (2014), because it has a 3220mAh battery size.

The Galaxy Note 4 has a bit better camera than Moto X (2014), and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and a F2.2 diafragm aperture, the Galaxy Note 4 also has a larger sensor and a more megapixels camera in the back.

Despite of being the best phone of the ones we are comparing here, the Galaxy Note 4 is also cheaper, which makes it an easy decision.
