Comparison review

Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a little bit better than Motorola Moto X (2014), getting an 80.4 score against 73.4. Although Galaxy Note Fan Edition is somewhat heavier than Motorola Moto X (2014), it's incredibly thinner and a lot newer. The Motorola Moto X (2014) has just a bit better looking display than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, although it has a bit smaller screen, a little bit less pixels per screen inch and a lot worse resolution of 1920 x 1080.

Moto X (2014) has a little faster CPU than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has less RAM and lesser cpu cores (although they are faster), it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor. The Galaxy Note Fan Edition shoots a bit better pictures and videos than Motorola Moto X (2014), because although it has a back camera with a worse resolution and a lower 3840x2160 video definition, it also counts with a larger sensor taking higher quality pictures and videos and a lot larger aperture for better low-light photos and video.

Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Moto X (2014), because it has an external SD slot that holds up to 256 GB and more internal memory capacity. Galaxy Note Fan Edition features a much longer battery life than Motorola Moto X (2014), because it has 3200mAh of battery capacity instead of 2300mAh.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a better device, it costs a lot more than Motorola Moto X (2014), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Motorola Moto X (2014). If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Motorola Moto X (2014), and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your budget.
