Samsung Galaxy Note5 has a global score of 80.2, which is slightly better than the Moto X (2014)'s 73.4 overall score. The Samsung Galaxy Note5 design is newer and much thinner than Moto X (2014)'s, although it is also heavier. The Moto X (2014) counts with a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Note5, because although it has 2 GB lesser RAM and less cpu cores (but faster), it also counts with an extra GPU.

The Moto X (2014) has a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Note5, although it has a lot worse 1920 x 1080 resolution, a little bit lower count of pixels per screen inch and a bit smaller display. Samsung Galaxy Note5 features a way bigger memory for applications and games than Moto X (2014), because it has more internal storage capacity.

Galaxy Note5 shoots clearer videos and photos than Motorola Moto X (2014), and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Galaxy Note5 also has a camera with a better 16 mega pixels resolution, a larger back-facing camera sensor shooting better quality photos and a larger aperture to capture better photos in low light situations.
