The Samsung Galaxy S5 is much better than the Motorola Moto X (2014), with a score of 80.8 against 73.4. The Samsung Galaxy S5 construction is just a little heavier but thinner than the Motorola Moto X (2014), and they were released with only 2 months difference. Both of these devices include Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy S5 has an older 4.4.2 version and Motorola Moto X (2014) has Android 5.0.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 has a little faster CPU than Moto X (2014), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy S5 also has a greater amount of RAM and a better 500 MHz graphics processing unit. Galaxy S5 has a bit sharper screen than Motorola Moto X (2014), because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1920 x 1080, the Galaxy S5 also counts with a better pixel density.
