The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is much better than the Motorola Moto X (2014), getting a general score of 85.7 against 73.4. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge's design is just a little bit lighter and notably thinner than the Motorola Moto X (2014), even though both of them were only released with a couple of months difference. Both of these phones have the same Android 5.0 OS.

The Galaxy S6 Edge has just a bit better hardware performance than Moto X (2014), because it has more RAM memory, a much better graphics co-processor, a 64 bits processor and 4 more processing cores. The Galaxy S6 Edge features a little sharper screen than Motorola Moto X (2014), because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a better pixel quantity per inch in the screen.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a much better memory for games and applications than Motorola Moto X (2014), because it has more internal storage. Moto X (2014) counts with a much better camera than Galaxy S6 Edge, although it has a camera in the back with less mega pixels resolution, a tinier back-facing camera sensor, a smaller aperture which is not recommended for taking images and videos in low-light situations and a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.

The Galaxy S6 Edge has a little better battery duration than Moto X (2014), because it has a 2600mAh battery size.

Although Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Moto X (2014), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Moto X (2014). If you want to save some dollars, you can get Moto X (2014), letting go a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your money.
