Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro is slightly better than Moto X (2014), with an 80.1 score against 73.4. The Motorola Moto X (2014) counts with just a bit better display than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a way worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a lot worse pixel density, it also counts with a little bit larger display.
The Moto X (2014) shoots better videos and photos than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a much tinier camera aperture which is not good for low light photos and videos and a smaller sensor, it also counts with a back-facing camera with a better resolution and a much better (4K) video definition.
Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a very superior memory capacity for games and applications than Moto X (2014), because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB and 64 GB internal memory capacity. The Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a much better battery performance than Moto X (2014), because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Motorola Moto X (2014), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Motorola Moto X (2014). So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, else you can save some money and get the Motorola Moto X (2014), giving up some specs and features.
