The Galaxy Z Fold 2 is much better than the Motorola Moto X (2014), getting a general score of 94.6 against 73.4. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 design is a lot newer and thinner than Motorola Moto X (2014)'s, although it is also incredibly heavier. These phones use Android operating system, but Galaxy Z Fold 2 has newer 11 version and Motorola Moto X (2014) has Android 5.0, providing the user some nice extra features.

The Moto X (2014) features a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a lot worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a lot smaller display, it also counts with a just a little better display pixels density. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a much bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Moto X (2014), because it has 224 GB more internal memory capacity.

Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a little bit better processing power than Moto X (2014), because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with 10 GB more RAM memory and 4 more processing cores. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a much longer battery performance than Moto X (2014), because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 captures much better pictures and videos than Moto X (2014), because although it has a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a back-facing camera with less MP resolution, it also counts with a much larger back-facing camera sensor shooting way higher quality videos and photographs and a larger aperture for better low-light captures and video.

Although Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Motorola Moto X (2014), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Motorola Moto X (2014). If you prefer to save some money, you can buy the Motorola Moto X (2014), letting go a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your savings.
