The Xperia XA2 Plus is a little bit better than Motorola Moto X (2014), having a overall score of 78.6 against 73.4. Even though the Xperia XA2 Plus is much heavier than Motorola Moto X (2014), it's a bit thinner and way newer. Both of these phones use Android OS, but the Xperia XA2 Plus has a newer 8.0 Oreo version and Motorola Moto X (2014) has Android 5.0.

Moto X (2014) counts with a little bit better looking display than Xperia XA2 Plus, because although it has a bit lower 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a bit greater quantity of pixels in each inch of display. The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has a very superior storage capacity to store more games and applications than Motorola Moto X (2014), because it has 64 GB internal storage and an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 400 GB.

The Moto X (2014) features a bit faster processor than Xperia XA2 Plus, because although it has 4 GB lesser RAM memory and a lower number of cores , it also counts with a graphics co-processor. The Xperia XA2 Plus takes slightly better photos and videos than Motorola Moto X (2014), and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same (4K) video definition, the Xperia XA2 Plus also has a lot larger sensor shooting lot better quality pictures and videos, a camera in the back with way more MP and a bigger camera aperture.

The Xperia XA2 Plus features a much longer battery life than Motorola Moto X (2014), because it has 3580mAh of battery capacity instead of 2300mAh.
