The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact is a bit better than the Motorola Moto X (2014), getting a 79 score against 73.4. Both of these devices include Android OS, but Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has the newer 8.0 Oreo version while Motorola Moto X (2014) has Android 5.0, providing lots of additional features and better performance. Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact's construction is extremely newer, but somewhat heavier and thicker than the Motorola Moto X (2014).

The Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with a bit superior processor than Moto X (2014), because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a higher number of cores (and also faster) and more RAM.
