Comparison review

The Xperia XZs is a little bit better than Moto X (2014), having a score of 77.2 against 73.4. Even though the Xperia XZs is heavier than the Moto X (2014), it's thinner and also much newer. Moto X (2014) features a little better performance than Sony Xperia XZs, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Moto X (2014) also counts with a graphics co-processor.

The Moto X (2014) has a sharper screen than Sony Xperia XZs. They have an equal 1920 x 1080px resolution, the same pixels density and a screen with the same size. The Xperia XZs captures a lot better pictures and videos than Motorola Moto X (2014), and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Xperia XZs also has a much better resolution back camera, a larger camera aperture for better photos in low light environments, a much bigger back camera sensor shooting much better quality photos and higher 960 fps video frame rates.

The Sony Xperia XZs has a very superior memory for games and applications than Motorola Moto X (2014), and although they both have equal internal memory, the Sony Xperia XZs also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 256 GB. Xperia XZs has longer battery lifetime than Motorola Moto X (2014), because it has a 26 percent greater battery capacity.

Although Sony Xperia XZs is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Moto X (2014), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Moto X (2014). If you want to save a few dollars, you can get Moto X (2014), letting go a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your budget.
