Sony Xperia Z4v has a global score of 78.8, which is a bit better than Motorola Moto X (2014)'s 73.4 general score. The Sony Xperia Z4v is a newer and somewhat thinner phone than Motorola Moto X (2014), although it is also a bit heavier. Both of these phones have Android OS (operating system), but Sony Xperia Z4v has newer 5.1 version and Motorola Moto X (2014) has Android 5.0, offering some additional features and performance tweaks.

The Xperia Z4v counts with a bit superior processor than Moto X (2014), because it has a larger number of cores (although they are slower), a much better graphics processing unit and a higher amount of RAM. The Xperia Z4v features a slightly better display than Moto X (2014), and although they both have a same size screen, the Xperia Z4v also has more pixels per inch in the display and a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
