Comparison review

The Xperia Z5 is just a bit better than the Moto X (2014), getting a general score of 77.6 against 73.4. Both of these phones have Android OS, but the Xperia Z5 has a newer 5.1 version and Moto X (2014) has Android 5.0. Xperia Z5's construction is newer and a lot thinner than Moto X (2014)'s, but it's also just a little heavier.

Moto X (2014) and Xperia Z5 both have really similar CPUs, and although the Xperia Z5 has a greater number of cores and a larger amount of RAM memory, they both have a 450 MHz graphics co-processor. Xperia Z5 and Motorola Moto X (2014) both count with extremely similar displays, both have a greater pixels amount in each screen inch, a display with the same size and an equal 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution.

The Xperia Z5 counts with a much better camera than Moto X (2014), and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Xperia Z5 also has a bigger aperture, a camera with a lot better resolution and a much larger back camera sensor which offers a much higher image and video quality.

The Xperia Z5 counts with a much better storage capacity to store more apps and games than Motorola Moto X (2014), and although they both have the same 32 GB internal memory capacity, the Xperia Z5 also has a SD memory slot that allows up to 200 GB. Sony Xperia Z5 counts with better battery life than Moto X (2014), because it has 2900mAh of battery capacity instead of 2300mAh.

Sony Xperia Z5 costs more than Motorola Moto X (2014), but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
