Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has a general score of 76, which is a little bit better than the Moto X (2014)'s score of 73.4. These devices include Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has a newer 6.0 Marshmallow version and Moto X (2014) has Android 5.0 version, so it gives a lot of extra features. Even though the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is heavier than the Moto X (2014), it's noticeably thinner and also way newer.

Motorola Moto X (2014) features a sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have an equal resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the Motorola Moto X (2014) also counts with a just a bit better display pixel density. Moto X (2014) features just a little better processing power than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Moto X (2014) also counts with an extra GPU.

Moto X (2014) captures a bit better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, although it has a smaller sensor which provides a worse image and video quality, a smaller camera aperture which is not recommended for capturing images or videos in low light environments, a way less mega-pixels camera and a lower 3840x2160 video quality.

Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Moto X (2014), because it has 128 GB internal storage. Xiaomi Mi Note 2 counts with a much longer battery life than Motorola Moto X (2014), because it has a 4070mAh battery size.
