Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is a bit better than the Moto X (2014), getting a 75.8 score against 73.4. Both of these phones include Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has the newer 8.0 Oreo version while Moto X (2014) has Android 5.0, so it counts with a couple nice extra features. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro's body is notably newer and thinner than the Moto X (2014)'s, although it's noticeably heavier.

Motorola Moto X (2014) features a bit better CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory and a lower number of cores , it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. The Moto X (2014) has a brighter display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a little greater count of pixels per inch of display.

The Moto X (2014) takes a bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have a F2.2 aperture, the Moto X (2014) also has a back facing camera with more MP and a lot higher video quality. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a much better memory capacity to store more apps and games than Moto X (2014), because it has a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 128 GB and 32 GB more internal memory.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro counts with a very superior battery duration than Moto X (2014), because it has a 4000mAh battery size instead of 2300mAh.
