The Moto G7 has a score of 75.2, which is a bit better than Moto X's 69.3 score. Both of these phones have Android OS (Operating System), but Moto G7 has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Moto X has Android 4.4.4 version. The Moto G7 construction is much newer and a lot thinner than the Moto X's, although it's also notably heavier.

The Motorola Moto X features a bit better display than Moto G7, although it has a just a little lower quantity of pixels per display inch, a way worse 1280 x 720 resolution and a really smaller display. The Moto G7 has a little faster processor than Moto X, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with 6 more CPU cores and a higher amount of RAM memory.

The Motorola Moto G7 shoots clearer videos and photos than Motorola Moto X, because it has a lot higher (4K) video definition, a way bigger aperture to take better low light photos and video and a better 12 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera. Moto G7 features a lot bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Motorola Moto X, because it has a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 512 GB and 64 GB internal memory capacity.

Moto G7 has longer battery life than Moto X, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity against 2200mAh.

The Moto G7 is not only the best phones of the ones in this comparison, but it's also by far the cheapest.
