Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is much better than Motorola Moto X Play, with an 80.7 score against 70.4. Both phones in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has the previous 5.0 version while Motorola Moto X Play has Android 5.1 version.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 counts with a greater performance than Motorola Moto X Play, because it has a greater number of cores, a graphics processor and a larger amount of RAM memory. Motorola Moto X Play and Samsung Galaxy Note 3 count with very similar displays, because although the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a quite lower screen pixel density, and they both have an equal resolution of 1920 x 1080px, it also counts with a little larger display.

Moto X Play and Galaxy Note 3 have incredibly similar cameras, because although the Galaxy Note 3 has a lot smaller back-facing camera sensor taking less light and washed colors, a back-facing camera with lot less megapixels resolution and a tinier aperture which is not nice for shooting photos or videos in low-light environments, it also counts with a lot higher 3840x2160 video definition.

Galaxy Note 3 has a quite bigger memory to install games and applications than Motorola Moto X Play, because although it has an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 64 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with 32 GB more internal memory capacity.
