Samsung Galaxy S6 is much better than Moto X Play, getting an 87.3 score against 70.4. Both of these phones include Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy S6 has older 5.0 version while Moto X Play has Android 5.1 version. Samsung Galaxy S6's body is way thinner and somewhat lighter than the Moto X Play, even though both were released with only a couple months difference.

Samsung Galaxy S6 costs a little more money than Motorola Moto X Play, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
