Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy S6 is much better than Moto X Play, getting an 87.3 score against 70.4. Both of these phones include Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy S6 has older 5.0 version while Moto X Play has Android 5.1 version. Samsung Galaxy S6's body is way thinner and somewhat lighter than the Moto X Play, even though both were released with only a couple months difference.

The Galaxy S6 has a really superior processing power than Motorola Moto X Play, because it has more CPU cores, 1 GB more RAM memory, a 64-bits processing unit and a GPU. Samsung Galaxy S6 has a sharper display than Moto X Play, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 2560 x 1440px and more pixels per inch of screen.

The Galaxy S6 features a much better memory capacity for games and applications than Moto X Play, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. Galaxy S6 counts with a little bit better camera than Motorola Moto X Play, because although it has a much worse 16 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera and a tinier back-facing camera sensor which gives a lower photo and video quality, it also counts with a larger aperture to capture better low light captures and a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.

Motorola Moto X Play has a much better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S6, because it has 3630mAh of battery capacity against 2550mAh.

Samsung Galaxy S6 costs a little more money than Motorola Moto X Play, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
