Although Huawei Mate 8 and the Moto X Pure Edition (2015) were released only 3 months apart, Huawei Mate 8's design is just a little bit heavier but also much thinner than the Moto X Pure Edition (2015).

Huawei Mate 8 counts with a bit better CPU than Motorola Moto X Pure Edition (2015), because it has more cpu cores and a greater amount of RAM. The Motorola Moto X Pure Edition (2015) has a little bit better looking display than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a better amount of pixels per inch of screen and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.

The Huawei Mate 8 counts with a much bigger memory to install applications and games than Moto X Pure Edition (2015), and although they both have a SD extension slot that admits up to 128 GB, the Huawei Mate 8 also has 64 GB more internal memory capacity. The Huawei Mate 8 features longer battery duration than Moto X Pure Edition (2015), because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity against 3000mAh.
