The Motorola Moto G7 Plus has a global score of 76.1, which is a bit better than the Moto X Pure Edition (2015)'s 74.1 score. The Motorola Moto G7 Plus is a noticeably newer cellphone, and it's also just a bit lighter and way thinner than the Moto X Pure Edition (2015). Motorola Moto G7 Plus has just a little better hardware performance than Moto X Pure Edition (2015), because it has 1 GB more RAM memory and more cpu cores.

The Motorola Moto X Pure Edition (2015) has a slightly better looking display than Moto G7 Plus, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher amount of pixels per inch of screen and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560px. Moto X Pure Edition (2015) takes clearer photographs and videos than Motorola Moto G7 Plus, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for shooting images and/or video in low light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Moto X Pure Edition (2015) also counts with a camera in the back with lot more megapixels and a bigger sensor which provides a better image and video quality.

Motorola Moto G7 Plus has a better memory to install games and applications than Motorola Moto X Pure Edition (2015), and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Motorola Moto G7 Plus also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 512 GB. The Motorola Moto G7 Plus's battery duration is just as good as Moto X Pure Edition (2015)'s battery lifetime.
