The Moto Z3 has a bit better hardware performance than Moto X Pure Edition (2015), because it has 2 more processing cores and a higher amount of RAM memory.

Moto X Pure Edition (2015) has a bit more vivid screen than Moto Z3, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution and a higher pixels density. Motorola Moto X Pure Edition (2015) shoots a bit better photos and videos than Moto Z3, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate, the same aperture and the same video quality, the Motorola Moto X Pure Edition (2015) also has a much more mega-pixels back-facing camera and a larger sensor taking better quality photographs.
